Fall Family Fun

Well, it's fall again, Ya'll!
hamminformom

Fall is my most favorite time of year. The weather cools off {hopefully soon}, the leaves change, the colors pop, the evenings are filled with firepits and friends, and the pumpkins, gourds, and corn stalks arrive!cornstalks

We tried a new farm this year. This fun farm had a hay bale maze. Our lilttle bossy britches conquered that one quickly!

We went with our friends, the Harmons. Ava and Maddie have shared so much fun together.

Some really fun corn filled boxes - where she immediately got buried by her daddy!

She tried her best at "swimming" in it...

She got a head full of it from Maddie...

Until she finally decided that she would just relax for a moment!

We moved on to find some LARGE tire swings and a pony swing made from a tire.

We found some real ponies to ride. Ava rode on a pony named "Tony"...

Finally, we got to pick out our pumpkin. Daddy told Ava he would buy her one, but...only one that she could pick up - clever daddy!

The Princess Tea

Once upon a time, in a very happy land, two princesses decided to go to a tea party. The two princesses were best of friends...

Pretty Smiles

Ava and I were outside this morning waiting for Lily. Ava just started dancing and singing. I'm sure if my neighbors weren't awake before this performance, they were shortly after...her singing voice has NO volume control...

She is also modeling an adorable shirt that one of my friends from elementary school made for me. I haven't tapped my sewing skills so I am taking advantage of hers :) She has a shop on etsy if interested, I'll send you a link!

It's still taking a little getting used to, with nothing there for so long I kinda feel like I live in a jungle :)

Take me out to the Ballgame...

...And - the Cards WIN!!!

Ava enjoyed her fourth Cardinals game with rain that had magnificent lightening but caused no delay in the game. We were sitting on the very last row in our section which was nice because during the lightening, we could stand up and be under roof!

Of course ~ our little gymnast found better ways to entertain herself during those rainy moments.
