First Dentist Visit

Ava had her first visit to the dentist. I was thinking she would be a little nervous. I had our appointments scheduled back to back and had planned that she would sit and watch as Ms. Laura cleaned my teeth. NOT SO, my little dare devil wanted to go first! Ms. Laura did great with her, she explained all the tools and equipment before they got started. So, I just sat back in amazement, snapping pictures, as my fearless little princess learned.

A Butterfly has a picnic

A day planned for a bike ride. We had planned on renting a bike with a trailer so Ava could ride with us. When we got to the bike rental place, all there trailers were being repaired... So, we had a picnic and got Ava's face painted...


On the way to the park ~ she was very excited about riding a bike. Too bad we had to disappoint her :(

Turns out our trip wasn't wasted. They were having an ice cream social and face painting to kick off the grand opening of a new bike/pedestrian trail.

Watching her get her face painted was so sweet. She was such a big girl. She picked the butterfly design and then she sat super still for the artist!
