Too big for the crib???

DSC01929

Tonight when I went to check on Ava I couldn't get in the bedroom door, I had to go around through the bathroom... No wonder I couldn't get in the door. Smart little girl, this is the last place she saw us go!

Pig tails

Ava has the sweetest day care teacher, who also has a little girl close to Ava's age. Mrs. Erin is very stylish and always has her daughter dressed to a "T". Today she was touching up her daughter's hair and apparently all the kids wanted their hair done. So, Ava had her very first pig tails when I picked her up. They make her look so grown!!

Feeding the Animals

We fed some animals at Grant's Farm...baby goats and a llama...

It was super cute to watch Ava with the baby bottles...the goats could suck the bottle dry in about 30 seconds. Ava however, had other plans. She would put the bottle in the goats mouth and then pull it away - she only allowed one little taste before moving on to the next goat... Her bottle lasted at least 10 minutes. But the look on her face was priceless...she loved those goats fighting to get to the bottle in her hand.

And again with the llamas, she wanted to make her experience last as long as possible. She fed the llamas only one bite at a time. We had to keep getting the llama's attention because it thought that she was taking too long-

Go Horsey Go!

For Labor Day weekend we had a nice visit from Nana and Aunt Betty. We took a little trip out to Grant's Farm. Ava got to ride the carousel for the first time. She wasn't sure what to think at first but she warmed up quickly! I really love how nurturing she is...trying to pet the horse's mane :)
