Here Comes Peter Cottontail...

We went to the Zoo to have breakfast with the Easter Bunny and Ava's best friend, Maddie.

The Easter Bunny's friends - Ava thought that all the animal friends had to have hugs. She would give high fives and even blow kisses.

While we were at the zoo hanging out with the monkey's, Ava decided she wanted to bring one home...




Ava got to control the filling as it went into the monkey...




She picked out a special heart and made a special wish...




She gave the heart a great BIG kiss...




and gave that heart to her new friend.

Crown Candy

Every year, Crown Candy puts out a large display of Chocolate bunnies and eggs. It is truly a sight to see. These chocolate bunnies are a work of art! To get in the spirit of Easter {candy} we took a quick day trip to a local favorite for some lunch and a little DESSERT :)





Ava loved to ride on her Daddy's shoulders and see the decorations in the window. It reminded me of Christmas window displays.



There was a line when we arrived that was around the corner. A little sign as you go in the door informed us that the wait from that spot was 30 minutes! Seating was on a first come, first served basis...and there were limited booths ~ maybe 10 all together. We were told the wait was WELL worth it...hope so, I was getting a little hungry :)

Then , we noticed that there was a wait for the candy counter as well.





Ava was in HEAVEN with all that chocolate! She was able to select a treat for later. Being the smart cookie that she is, she picked a bag of chocolate eggs- it was as if she knew they would last longer.






And, YES...the food was well worth the wait!

...to go see Mickey Mouse in Alaska!


Ava's passport arrived. I can't believe that my 3 year old has a passport. I didn't have one until I was 18!

Ava is a silly goose...that's how she got her nickname {I call her Goose}. Here she is being silly at the Mexican resternaunt (aka restaurant).

Ava was excited to hear that she has a new baby cousin...welcome sweet Brady! We have been waiting for you...

When I showed Ava this picture, she said, "OOOH! It's baby Brady"!
