Waterfalls and Glaciers

On the way up the mountain to Whistler, we noticed {well...couldn't really miss it} an enormous waterfall that we knew was a MUST SEE on our return trip. We watched for it very carefully and made that stop. It was most definitely a rewarding side trip!

The lady at the welcome center informed us that this waterfall was glacier snow melt and that it was only a fraction of what would come in the next 4-6 weeks as the spring warms up!

ok, the trees are MUCH bigger here...

The view that invited us to make that stop later in the day.

There were several overlook spots to vies the falls and many people braved the calmer waters to climb out on the rocks. We got our workout and climbed to the highest view spot...its pretty far up the falls and we were getting soaked by the spray!
