Day with Daddy
Daddy took me to the park to play today... Looks like a fun time and of course took a few trips down the slide!

Quite the Climber
In the morning while I get dressed, Ava's toy choice is very limited. She has a horse, a doll, and the toys on the exersaucer. She loves to push the music on the exersaucer and dance, but she hasn't been IN it in about 6 months at least! This morning when I heard her saying "out"...she had climbed inside the seat and was playing. I got her out but it quickly became a game. She climbed in at least 5 times!!

Mommy's little helper
Ava has started doing a lot of "monkey see, monkey do". She was watching me dust and wipe down the baseboards in preparation for painting {notice the new khaki walls around the fireplace}. She picked up the swiffer and started dusting the fireplace... WOW!! I can just imagine her little brain working overtime with all the new things she learns.

Balancing Act
We went on a playdate last week and spent the afternoon at a park. Ava found herself in very new territory... She tried her hand {and feet} on the balance beam. I was amazed at how fast she learned to walk putting one foot directly in front of the other. Her and her friend took turns and laughed. What a fabulous day to spend time outside!

4 Questions
Ok...no picture tonight but I have to brag. Ava can answer four questions...any guesses???
- What does a dog say?
- What does a cat say?
- What does a cow say?
- What does a duck say?
I am very proud of this new accomplishment. She has been saying the sounds for a while but hasn't answered the questions yet - big steps forward.
I also forgot to update her 18 month stats... She weighs 24 pounds 14 ounces and is 33 and 3/4 inches long. That puts her in the 50% and 95% respectively. Grow baby girl grow!!
Good Night for now but will get some pictures up soon for everyone...
