maybe a clue to why the bumper pads don't fit...

We had a very busy day today and Ava pretty much refused to rest or nap. I know that she must be a very tired girl. We had an early bath...ate spaghetti...and then off to bed early. Mom and Dad are hoping that an earlier bed time will compensate for the "spring forward" time change and keep her on somewhat of a schedule!

I went in to check on Ava as I always do before I head downstairs for the night...this is what I found!! WOW!! Must be comfy. I knew that she liked to lay like this and "talk" during naps but I had never seen her sleeping in this position. It was worth the risk that the flash might wake her up to get this precious pose. I'm just glad she's sleeping well. We all have coughs, runny noses, and sore throats...yuck.

Basket full of Ava?

Ava found something new to climb in today...her toy basket!!

Fun in the tub

More bath time fun...G rated of course...I don't want any pictures that Ava will be upset about one day, although this will probably do it ;-) Isn't she cute splashing around in the tub. I am practicing with my new camera...lots of fun!!

Jungle Gym??

I don't think so...but this is one of Ava favorite things to do. She is a climber. She climbs on this cart, the baby doll stroller and in the laundry basket.

Feeding myself

Meal time is a fun time...especially when Daddy is home. He loves to play ~ even if it's not play time. BUT...he sure can make you laugh for me to catch a great picture. I love my new camera. I can catch those smiles before you look away!

Momma's new camera

A few fun pictures from Momma playing with her new camera...it is so fun when you have such a beautiful subject :-) Ava is getting better at posing and with a faster shutter speed, I can catch all those sweet smiles BEFORE she turns her head away.
